Hope Through Business Lunch

Randal Charitable Foundation attends Hope Through Business Lunch.

The Randal Team were delighted to join other supporters at the Hope Through Business Lunch, which is a regular membership event that helps to raise money for charity Hope Against Cancer.

Last week’s event was hosted by Vice Chair Eileen Perry (Richards) MBE DL and Trustee Duncan Green. The event featured an interesting speech by Professor Jacqui Shaw, from the University of Leicester, on her research of blood-based tests, to help track how cancers evolve and spread, along with helping to detect breast cancer at an early stage.

In 2019 the Randal Charitable Foundation made a significant donation to Hope Against Cancer’s biggest project, which is doubling of the size of the Clinical Trials Facility at Leicester Royal Infirmary (LRI), at a cost of £1.5million.
