Compass Children’s Charity

The Randal Charitable Foundation proudly supports Compass Children’s Charity.

Compass Children’s Charity has a vision of a world where children are free, safe and can realise their potential.

The charity’s mission is to develop collaborative partnerships that promote a positive and measurable impact on the lives of at-risk children and adolescents through programmes and rights-based advocacy.

Established in 1999, they have supported over 10,000 children to-date and specialise in working on behalf of at-risk children globally. Their current project partners are based in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Honduras.

The charity’s programmes include working with children living and working on the streets, child trafficking survivors, refugee children, as well as children fleeing gangs, violence and persecution.

They specialise in funding meaningful and impactful programmes that have a positive impact on the lives of children. They provide training and ongoing support to partners to ensure programmes for children are safe, inclusive, are high quality and measurable.

The charity also advocates for the rights of at-risk children, calling on governments to provide protection, essential services and justice to children who are voiceless.

Funding supports the essential work carried out by the programmes, focused on physical & mental health, education, sports & development, vocational training, street outreach, maternal & postnatal care for adolescent mothers and unaccompanied refugee children in Mexico.

In 2022 the Randal Charitable Foundation provided grant funding to enable 107 street children to receive mental health treatment. The funding also provided mental and sexual health education along with awareness on prevention of STDs and pregnancy for a healthy, stable life in Mexico.
