Henfield Area Response Team

The Randal Charitable Foundation proudly supports Henfield Area Response Team.

HART (Henfield Area Response Team) was set up to tackle acute medical and cardiac emergencies in the Henfield community.

As an independent charity, it supports the Sussex Ambulance Service in providing volunteer trained responders for emergency calls in Henfield. All responders are trained to attend emergency calls received by the ambulance service, giving life-saving care in the minutes before the ambulance arrives.

HART Responders are all local volunteers from the Henfield area, committing time on a regular basis to offer support to the local community. They are dispatched by the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) to provide immediate care to those in the area who have fallen ill.

Serendip Children's Home is supported by the Randal Charitable Foundation

In 2022 the Randal Charitable Foundation provided grant funding to relocate 14 existing publicly accessible defibrillators from locations within the premise to an external site in Henfield.
