The Randal Charitable Foundation are proud to partner with the Jobs Foundation to launch the Jobs Foundation East Midlands to ensure the region is at the heart of the national mission to Get Britain Working.
By bringing the Jobs Foundation to the East Midlands, we will be able to represent the views of businesses across the region in Westminster and Whitehall, ensuring employers have the conditions they need to tackle the worklessness crisis, through drafting and submitting regular representations to government on behalf of the East Midlands Business Community. Jobs Foundation East Midlands will act as a source of hope for employers in the region, allowing voices and great work to be magnified on a national scale.
Our support will enable Jobs Foundation East Midlands to host a high-profile launch, attended by the region’s key businesspeople, politicians, and journalists, to bring attention to both the employment opportunities and challenges that are facing employers within the region. Similar to previous Regional Council launches, an esteemed panel will be hosted to speak to the region’s most important employment issues, acting as important networking opportunities to expand reach in the region.
The Jobs Foundation East Midlands will also act as the delivery function to promote the uptake of the Jobs Foundation Pledge, ensuring that businesses across the region learn from our best practice in terms of hiring and training, making it easier for economically inactive or unemployed individuals across the region to access the workplace.
