Motivation

The Motivation Charitable Trust is supported by the Randal Charitable Foundation

Motivation is a charity which focusses on enabling greater independence for people living with a disability in developing countries.

The charity estimates over a billion people in the world today have some form of disability and 80% of these people live in the developing world.

They believe in helping to create a world where all disabled people are included and fully participate in every aspect of life. At the moment, this is just a vision, as the reality is that millions of disabled people don’t have access to the equipment, services or healthcare they need.

In 2019 the Randal Charitable Foundation helped to provide Motivation Multisport wheelchairs for the charity’s All-Stars project , which is supporting disabled children in Uganda.

By creating sports clubs that enable disabled children to play shoulder to shoulder with their non-disabled peers, the charity is challenging disability discrimination.

The clubs are designed to increase the children’s confidence and ensure everyone – no matter their disability – is included.

The All-Stars project is part-funded by the UK government’s UK Aid Match fund.
