Social Disadvantage

Social Disadvantage

Throughout the world there is an uncomfortable correlation between the poorest in society and the most socially disadvantaged.

Whether it is because a person is young, older, disabled, or living with some other mental or physical vulnerability they deserve the same opportunities as others within their communities.

You Are Not Alone

The Randal Charitable Foundation supports causes which tackle extreme social disadvantage in the UK and globally.

We help older people who are isolated and may have mobility issues and funding has been provided to aid social interaction, to help those suffering severe hardship, and assisting with post-hospital care.

The lives of young people are often the most disproportionately affected by social disadvantage, which is why the Foundation funds causes that provide educational support services to youngsters from the most deprived backgrounds.

The Foundation also supports victims of illegal activity, those living with a disability, parentless children and those living in extreme poverty.

Globally, the Foundation funds charities which focus on helping the most disadvantaged and those living in extreme social disadvantage, by improving education, health and their ability to develop a sustainable income.
